A 4/3 telephoto lens with a very long focal length range and at the same time characterized by bright light and advanced optical construction – this is the new Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 50-200 mm f / 2.8-4 ASPH.
Users of Panasonic cameras will gain a new telephoto lens – Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 50-200 mm f / 2.8-4 ASPH . Its strong point is that it offers a wide range of focal lengths. Although it does not have constant light, it will also offer a quite bright aperture in the f / 2.8-4 range.

Advanced optical design
The new telephoto lens can boast a really solid construction. The lens optics consists of up to 21 lenses, which are arranged in 15 groups . We find among them two elements of UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion), two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses and two aspherical elements. The minimum focusing range for this telephoto lens is 75 centimeters. Due to the long range of focal lengths in the lens, of course, there could be no optical stabilization, which works with 5-axis stabilization in the camera's matrix . And since we're talking about length, it's really big, because by weighing the Micro Four Thirds matrix we have to multiply everything two times. This, in turn, gives us a real range of 100-400 mm.Taking into account the relatively bright light at the maximum zoom, at the level of f / 4, we can count on nice pictures with a visible bokeh effect. Of course, taking into account the possibilities of the matrix in Panasoniki, to use this telephoto lens it will be good to find the right lighting conditions, because darker interiors combined with the f / 4 aperture value can result in grain.
The lens has been adapted to work in difficult conditions . The housing has been sealed against dust and splashes, and is also able to cope with work even at a 10-degree frost.
