The new control module for Sony RX0 allows you to record shots from many perspectives like in Matrix.
The Sony RX0 presented last year has a new control module. It is connected directly to the RX0 camera and enables control over the IP link from the web browser installed on the computer. Transmission of control signals over the IP network makes it possible to control the camera settings from a connected computer located anywhere. Wired connection also facilitates operation and synchronization of many RX0 cameras connected to control modules – a maximum of 100 of them. This allows the creators to obtain high-quality "bullet time" film effects, fix prestigious events from atypical perspectives or create virtual reality.Users of multiple RX0 cameras connected to control modules can simultaneously change the settings of all cameras and enable / disable recording. There is also an image synchronization function that allows you to easily synchronize the frames of movies from individual cameras. It eliminates time differences between the cameras and supports the process of combining multiple images for special effects. The system allows you to transfer files directly to a connected computer8, as well as define and rename files to avoid mistakes when working with multiple cameras. Up to 100 independent RX0 cameras and CCB-WD1 control modules can be connected to provide live images from multiple sources. The camera control module also allows the user to program settings and shooting methods and other parameters.
