Sony unveils VENICE: Sony's first digital digital cinema camera with full-frame image sensor.
Sony VENICE is a 36mm x 24mm digital film camcorder with full frame image sensor . The latter allows you to preserve the image as you would on a film tape: with natural skin tones and full expression with dark portions. The camera is equipped with a newly developed, full frame, 36 x 24 mm image sensor. It works with a whole range of lenses , including 35mm anamorphic lenses and full frame AF lenses. When using a lens of lesser weight and size, wider angle or specific specifics, the lens mount can be adjusted to work with E-type lenses.The user selects a specific zone for the image sensor to shoot in Super 35 format. mm 4-perf Future upgrades to the internal software will allow the recording of 6K resolution at 36mm. The VENICE system also features more than 15 degrees of aperture , so it can work in demanding conditions: from low light to sharp sunlight. The VENICE camera uses 16-bit RAW / X-OCN format and XAVC format. The AXS-R7 portable memory card recorder is used to record data. The VENICE system is also compatible with current and planned CineAlta camera accessories: OLF Full HD OLF viewer, DVF-EL200 viewer, AXS-R7 recorder, AXS-CR1 and AR1 card readers, and AXS and SxS memory cards.)
