A new Canon 5DS R is coming. When can we expect the 5DS R Mark II? What is the Japanese giant preparing for us?
Since the launch of the first version of Canon 5DS and 5DS R it has been two and a half years. The camera is still great, but it looks like Canon is planning to update it and offer us 5DS R Mark II . What will be the hardware? First of all, Canon has decided to replace 5DS and 5DS R with one camera. This new one is supposed to be equipped with a 60.1 megapixel sensor and offers 4K recording. The body is like the 5D mark IV. An interesting focus may be the use of focus peaking , which will surely appeal to users of manual lenses. To ensure the highest level of detail, it is decided to remove the lowpass filter, as in the case of the predecessor. Canon 5DS R mark II can be equipped with Dual Pixel AF, WiFi, touch screen or GPS. Probably the camera will be presented in the second half of next year . So far, prototype tests are underway. However, we do not know how much it will cost, but it will surely find its buyers among the advertising photographers or fotosists. Source: canonrumors.com
