Samyang introduces its two new models – 85 mm f / 1.2 and 14mm f / 2.4. These will be designed to work with a full-frame cameras.

Samyang is known for his manual lenses, which are available for all common fasteners, and their price is so affordable that many can not reach. Now the manufacturer introduces two old-new models. Lenses with focal lengths presented in the implementation of Samyang known for years, but now will be somewhat lighter, and the optics provide higher resolution. Talking about models 85 mm f / 1.2 and 14mm f / 2.4. The first can buy now with the light of f / 1.4, and the other with the light of f / 2.8. But the higher the brightness is not enough. The manufacturer ensures that the optical design of both models has been adapted for use with full-frame matrix with a resolution of 50 megapixels cameras and audio recorders image quality 8K. In both models were used with anti-reflection coatings which reduce the aberrations to a minimum thereby improving image quality.

Samyang 85 mm 1.2

Samyang 85 mm 1.2

The optical design 85mm F / 1.2 consists of ten elements arranged in seven groups by one aspherical lens element and two high quality refractive lenses. They minimize deflection and unwanted light scattering and provide a clear and vivid picture.
Samyang 14 mm 2.5

Samyang 14 mm 2.5

Lens 14mm F / 2.4 boasts an even more complex optics. It has as many as 18 elements arranged in 14 groups, including 4 different types of lenses: two aspherical lenses, one hybrid aspherical lens and two lenses with extra-low dispersion and one refractive lens. Optimal performance creates an impressive image quality throughout the field of view. The outer structure is made of aluminum, providing a maximum stability. Both models will be available for sale as early as this year, but we do not know exactly when. We have not met yet also the final price of any of the models.
